Terms, cancellations and refunds
Last updated 26 September 2026
These terms apply when you buy a membership, book a class or buy from the Demo Martial Arts shop, online or at the gym.
Memberships
- Prices are in Malaysian ringgit and shown on the Memberships page. A one-time registration fee of RM 80 applies to your first group membership.
- Memberships start on the day you pay, or on the day your current membership ends if you choose that when renewing, and run for the period shown.
- Monthly class allowances (for example 8 + 1) refresh each membership month. Unused classes don't carry over unless your plan says so.
- Memberships are personal and can't be shared or transferred.
Booking and cancelling classes
- Members can book up to 14 days ahead. Booking closes 15 minutes before class.
- Cancel at least 3 hours before class and the class is returned to your membership. Later cancellations and no-shows use the class.
- If we cancel a class, the class is returned to your membership and we'll email you.
Refunds
- All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable: packages, memberships, the registration fee, walk-ins, private and semi-private sessions and space rental. This includes unused classes, injury, illness and moving away, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Classes must be used within the package's validity. Unused classes expire at the end of it.
- If you paid by mistake or were charged twice, contact us within 14 days and we'll return the extra payment.
- Card payments are returned to the same card, usually within 5 to 10 working days. Online banking (FPX), Touch 'n Go eWallet and DuitNow QR payments are returned by bank transfer.
Shop orders
- Items are held for you while you pay. Pickup at the gym is free; delivery fees are shown at checkout.
- Unused items in their original condition can be returned within 7 days of pickup or delivery for a refund or exchange. Hygiene items such as hand wraps and mouthguards can't be returned once opened.
- If something arrives faulty or wrong, contact us and we'll replace or refund it.
Training safely
Martial arts involves physical contact and a risk of injury. Everyone signs our waiver, release and membership terms before training (a parent or guardian signs for children). Tell your coach about any injury or medical condition, follow their instructions, and stop if you feel unwell. You train at your own risk to the extent the law allows.
